Key Features of Element by Vesti
Sign Up: The "create account" feature in the Element app makes it easy for new users to join. As a new user, you can sign up and complete the KYC process on the Element app using your native country's identification card. This means you can submit your home country's ID card for verification and wait for approval to start making transactions. Additionally, if you have a Vesti email address, you can use it to sign up for an Element account. This allows you to add money to your Element account from your Vesti USD wallet whenever you need to. Joining Element and starting your financial journey is made simple and convenient with these features.
Send Money Feature: The "send money" feature in the Element app has three different ways to send money:
Send Money to a US Bank Account: With this feature, users can send money directly to a US bank account. By choosing either ACH or US domestic wire, users can complete a transaction form with details like the amount they want to send and the receiver's bank account information. Once the form is filled out, the money will be sent to the US bank account.
Send Money to Other Users: This feature allows users to transfer money to accounts denominated in US dollars, which are external to the Element app. Users simply need to fill out a form with the necessary details, and once the form is submitted, the transfer will be processed.
Send Money to Element User: With this feature, users can easily transfer money to another user of the Element app. All they need is the username of the recipient within the app, and they can send the money directly to that user.
These three options give users flexibility in sending money to different destinations, whether it's a US bank account, an external account, or another user of the Element app.
“When you transfer money from one Element account to another, it happens instantly, and the recipient receives the money right away. However, it's important to understand that when you send money to a US bank account or to other users, it may not be instantly credited. The US banking system requires some time to process the transaction, usually taking around 24-48 hours. So, it may take up to 2 days for the recipient to receive the money you sent or wired”.
Please keep this in mind when making transfers, as there may be a slight delay in the recipient receiving the funds.
Add Money Feature: The Element app provides users with the ability to add money to their accounts using different options:
Card from Home: Users can add money to their Element account by selecting this option and using a debit card. It allows users to transfer funds from their personal debit cards to their Element account.
Existing US Card or Account: This feature enables users to add money to their Element account using their US bank card. If you already have a bank card linked to a US bank account, you can use it to transfer funds to your Element account.
Vesti USD Wallet: If you are a Vesti user and you use the same email address for both your Vesti and Element accounts, you can add money from your Vesti USD wallet to your Element account. This option allows for seamless transfer of funds between your Vesti and Element accounts.
These options provide flexibility for users to add money to their Element account using different sources, such as debit cards, existing US bank cards, or funds from their Vesti USD wallet.
Balance Feature: The "balance" feature allows users to check the amount of money available in their wallet. It also lets users confirm the updated balance after they have completed a transaction. This way, users can easily keep track of their funds.
Generate Payment Link Feature: With this feature, users can create a payment link. This link can be copied and shared by the user with another party to receive payment into their Element account. It provides a convenient way for users to request and receive payments from others.
