Two-Factor Authentication on the Vesti app

As the name suggests, two-factor authentication or 2FA adds a second layer of security to your Vesti account to make it more difficult for someone other than you to get access.

The most important feature you can do to increase your online security is to enable two-factor authentication on your Vesti account. Hurry and activate your two-factor authentication now because the Vesti app now has two-factor authentication that is active and you can get your authentication code via email or SMS.

Once the two-factor is activated, every log into your Vesti account requires a 6-digit code sent to either the mobile phone number or email address used while signing up on the Vesti app. 

This two-factor authentication code is a one time code sent to users which allows them to verify their accounts while login into the app. It is functional on both the mobile and web app. 

Steps on logging into the app once 2FA is activated

1. On login into the app, the user is asked for the mode in which the code can be sent either via email or SMS to the registered phone number of the user.

2. An authentication code is sent through the chosen medium of the user, i.e. Email or SMS. 

3. User inputs the authentication code and goes ahead with using the Vesti app.
